I’m a registered osteopath in West Auckland, Clinical Director of Top Notch Bodyworks, and current Chair of Osteopaths New Zealand. With more than 15 years of clinical experience in osteopathy, visceral manipulation, and rehabilitation, my goal is to deliver fast, effective care that’s tailored to each individual.
My journey into osteopathy is shaped by a unique background: 13 years as a Physical Training Instructor in the Royal New Zealand Air Force, followed by advanced academic training in osteopathy and human biology. I bring a no-nonsense, results-driven approach to helping clients recover from pain, injury, and long-term physical dysfunction.
As an osteopath in West Auckland, whether you’re dealing with chronic musculoskeletal issues, recovering from surgery, or needing a reset after injury, I’ll work with you to develop a direct, efficient treatment plan. I combine hands-on manual therapy with movement-based rehabilitation and, when appropriate, visceral manipulation.
I also support my clients with:
Pre/post-operative rehabilitation
Exercise prescription
Pain management strategies
Mental health screening in osteopathic care
I believe in adjusting treatment strategies dynamically – if something isn’t working, we pivot quickly to make sure you’re getting results.
In my role as Chair of Osteopaths New Zealand, I advocate for the integration of osteopathy into everyday healthcare. I lead national initiatives, contribute to professional development, and support the growth of the profession across Aotearoa.
As part of my clinical and leadership work, I continue to mentor peers, contribute to education programs, and facilitate professional peer groups – including those here in West Auckland.
My master’s thesis explored the role of osteopaths in supporting mental health – particularly screening for depression, anxiety, and suicide risk. This reflects my commitment to treating the whole person, not just the injury or symptom.
