Senior Massage Therapist

Rachel specialises in Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT), Myofascial Release (MFR), Therapeutic Massage and Sports Massage, Pregnancy and Relaxation Massage Therapy.

Over the past few years, Rachel has had the experience of working with some national and international elite athletes and sports teams such as; The NZ Warriors NRL squad, the Manu Samoa & Scotland Rugby World Cup teams, National level Football teams and various multisport athlete’s. This range of experience has given Rachel an in depth knowledge in Sports Therapy and working with members of the sporting community.

A keen sportswoman herself, Rachel participates regularly in horse riding, snowboarding and surfing and may outdoor pursuits. These past times have given her and insight into the relationship between the musculoskeletal system and various physical activities.

Aside from working with sports teams and athlete’s, Rachel has a passion for complex and chronic pain cases. She enjoys working collaboratively with every client and emphasizes the importance of contributing biomechanical, psychosocial and lifestyle factors that may be impacting an individuals recovery.

Rachel is experienced in treating a range of soft tissue dysfunction; such as postural imbalances, previous injuries, shoulder and rotator cuff injuries, chronic lower back and neck pain, headaches, stress, breathing dysfunction, fatigue and many more.

Rachel is also currently teaching on the Diploma in Clinical Massage Therapy (Level 6) program at the New Zealand College of Massage.

Rachel specialises in Oncology Massage, Therapeutic and Sports Massage, Pregnancy Massage and Relaxation Massage and can accept Southern Cross and Sweet Louise massages.

Rachel's Hours

Monday – 3pm to 9pm
Tuesday – 9am til 3pm
Saturday – 9am to 3pm (alternative weeks)
