Marshall Gabin is our Senior Osteopath, graduating from Unitec in 2009 with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Human Biology (BAppSc) and a Masters in Osteopathy (MOst). Marshall has recently returned from practising Osteopathy in China for over 8 years, where he was highly sought after by many ex-pats. Previous to Osteopathy, Marshall was a Remedial Massage Therapist for 11 years in Hong Kong.
Marshall has an extensive amount of knowledge, having completed over 100 additional courses during his career. He believes most patients pain is a result of their body pattern, acquired over a long history of accidents and traumas. "Unless you have had a direct trauma to the site of your pain, your pain is not your problem." He believes in getting to the cause of the pain, and as such, very seldom treats at the site of pain, but through carefully honed diagnostic skills, to find the cause of the pain. As such Marshall isn't your typical Osteopath. He doesn't use spinal manipulation techniques but has a unique and deliberate approach to providing highly skilled care we believe will assist those that have struggled to get results with other health professionals. David Liddiard is our Senior Registered Osteopath, graduating with a Master of Osteopathy (MOst) from Oxford Brookes University in the UK.
After completing his studies in the UK, David has worked in several different practices around New Zealand. With an extensive background and specialisation in the dynamics of how your body moves (biomechanics) and improve how you drive (rehabilitation). David has worked with professional sports teams such as the sevens and elite Olympic athletes. With David, you'll get the absolute best. His ongoing attendance of professional development in rehabilitation, injury prevention and work-related injuries, will be reflected in your session. David also has a keen eye for getting your rehabilitation on track, helping you with injury prevention, and postural changes. David can even look at the impact that work is having on your injury. If needed, David can work alongside post-surgery care and other specialist health care professionals, so you can get maximise your recovery and get back to doing what you enjoy best. David is also experienced with pregnancy, abdominal and pelvic issues and has a keen interest in any digestive issues you may have. David is ACC registered |

Anj believes osteopathy is for everyone within our community, from babies right through to the later years. The experience of osteopathic techniques can really change a person's life for the better.
Anj's background is from a multitude of sports and recreation events before and during her time serving our country for 13 years with the Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF). Anj became a Physical Training Instructor in 2007, completing Assistant Physical Training Instructors, Primary Training Instructors course (Group Fitness Instructor Level 3) and an Advanced Fitness Instructors Course (Fitness Exercise Consultant Level 3 and Community Recreation Level 3). Anj's overall interest lies with psychology, pain management and loves to explore the complexity of this field. With the background of military training, completion of a Bachelor in Health Science and the Masters of Osteopathy, Anj has an extensive background in healthcare and Anj knows first hand how your situation is unique to you. No one person or issue is the same, and so we need to approach your treatment individually so that we can be successful. We look to see how we can best move you forward. Anj is a firm believer that in order to have success in solving your issue, there has be "buy in" from you. Your recovery will truly depend on your own willingness to take the drivers seat in getting your life back and this requires you to have an active role with your issue. By doing so, you will get back to your own goals of health and wellness much quicker. Anj is ACC registered |
